Shining at CMEF | Puncture Robotic's HAIRO hair transplant robot makes its debut at CMEF and is selected for the "China High-Quality Medical Device Export Selection Guide (2025)" list!

On April 8th, the 91st China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) kicked off in Shanghai. Puncture Robotic made a significant appearance with HAIRO, the first domestically produced hair transplant robot with a medical device license, showcasing its product concept of "precision and intelligence, striving for perfection" and becoming the center of attention. As the only hair transplant robot brand exhibiting HAIRO not only was selected for the official "Guide for the Selection of High-Quality Medical Devices for Export (2025)" based on its strong capabilities, but also demonstrated the breakthrough power of Chinese manufacturing in the field of high-end medical equipment through its clinical value and global vision.

• Technological Breakthrough: Redefining the "Precision" of Hair Transplantation •

The development of the HAIRO hair transplant robot brought together more than 10 leading experts from China and abroad, dozens of Bongce employees, and combined perception mechanics, biomedicine, materials science, computer vision, and other disciplines. With an investment exceeding 100 million and 5 years of development, the pioneering AI multi-follicle hair transplantation solution can prioritize the extraction of multi-follicle hair follicles while ensuring uniformity, significantly reducing the number of punctures while meeting the clinical hair transplantation needs and protecting each hair follicle of the patient. The self-developed binocular vision and AI algorithm, allows the machine to automatically extract at a rate of 1800 Fu/h, nearly doubling the speed of imported equipment; the use of "0.8-1.0mm micro-needle puncture" significantly reduces the size of the wound, allowing hair loss patients to resume social activities after 3 days; the rate of hair follicle transection is reduced from 15% to less than 5% for manual methods, with a survival rate exceeding 95%.

• Clinical Verification: A Practical Device that Doctors "Use Well" •

At the exhibition, many hospital doctors inquired about the application of the product. It is understood that recently, the HAIRO hair transplant robot has been rapidly commercialized in many private hair transplant institutions in China, and has demonstrated its powerful application capabilities through live surgery broadcasts and media coverage. Practical data shows that hair transplant institutions only need 7 days of standardized training to get started. HAIRO can handle nearly 90% of the repetitive operations in the extraction process, reducing the workload of doctors by 70%. Through precise robotic execution, the medical team can focus more on surgical plan design and quality control, truly achieving "easy-to-use equipment, doctors love it, patients benefit from it."

• Global Favor: Domestic Manufacturing Accelerates Overseas Expansion •

HAIRO's "China solution" has attracted international attention. At the exhibition, a large number of medical representatives from Europe, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia visited the booth for exchanges and inquiries about product highlights and clinical applications. Many overseas institutions expressed their intention to cooperate on-site, hoping to introduce it to their local markets.

As the first hair transplant robot in China to obtain NMPA Class III certification, HAIRO's participation in the exhibition carries the significance of industry transformation. When the "precision and intelligence" technical strength is combined with the brand attitude of "striving for perfection," the popularity of HAIRO at CMEF is not only a testament to the product's market acceptance, but also a microcosm of China's medical technology strength. Its inclusion in the "Guide for the Selection of High-Quality Medical Devices for Export (2025)" marks the shift of domestic equipment from "following" to "running side-by-side." HAIRO is using the precision and warmth of "Chinese manufacturing" to open a new chapter in the globalization of AI hair transplantation—making the extraction of each hair follicle a dual empowerment of technology and humanity, leading the arrival of a new era of AI hair transplantation.

It is reported that this year's CMEF exhibition will last for 4 days (April 8-11). Medical professionals are welcome to visit the Puncture Robotic HAIRO hair transplant robot booth: Hall 5.1 G39 for exchanges and guidance and jointly explore the new blue ocean of AI hair transplantation!
